Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that killed a woman and sent two others to the hospital. Kentucky State Police say, a motorcycle operated by Gregory Damron was traveling northbound on US 23 Saturday afternoon, when a vehicle being driven by Lisa Cantrell pulled across the road into the motorcycle's path.

Both Gregory Damron and his passenger Sheila Damron were thrown from the bike. Lisa Cantrell was transported to Pikeville Medical Center by ambulance. Gregory and Sheila were transported by air to Holston Valley Hospital in Tennessee where Sheila Damron was pronounced dead by Doctor Jason Dunn.

The couple, from the Lick Fork area were wearing helmets but there's still no word on Gregory Damron's condition.

So far no charges have been filed against Lisa Cantrell.
